Grant Wattie serves as President of N2Growth Australia, overseeing all operations in the country, including executive search, leadership development, and organisational design.
He is highly regarded as a master executive coach and leadership advisor.
Founder of the Global Women’s Leadership Summit, the world’s top online event for professional women, Grant believes advancing women and social justice is key to solving the world’s economic and environmental problems.
His unique blend of skills comes from a varied career spanning more than 25 years in corporate, business ownership, technology and franchise start-ups, professional photography and the behavioral sciences.
His work is supported by experiences with a diverse population cross-section, ranging from Malaysian royalty, New Zealand’s Governor General, governments, diplomats and international business leaders to marginalised and low socio-economic groups.
He has received the highest honor given to a foreign dignitary by the Government of Chile for his services – The Bernardo O’Higgins award.
Grant is passionate about individual and organisational transformation, and enjoys working strategically with complex issues supported by a highly creative ‘out of the box’ thinking style.
Leadership and coaching engagements involve helping leaders to develop purpose, improved communication and relationships, and more satisfying lives. He uses the domain of ontological leadership – for example, ‘being a leader in the field’, rather than ‘knowing’ about it from a book or lecture – to help others achieve extraordinary personal and professional results.
Hobbies include playing competitive squash, outdoor pursuits and cooking. Grant and his wife Christine have been married for 30 years with three adult children.
Communication and relationships
“Grant helped me with some great coaching and mentoring to help my personal development in my role as a leader. Grant has a gentle, yet relentless approach, to helping confront the areas of opportunity and then explore the cause of those issues. Grant’s role as a coach helps guide one through the process, in a way that is non-judgemental and really encourages open communication. This approach really allowed me to open up and expose the real core of why certain triggers drive specific behaviour and therefore what I can do differently to improve my communication style.”
