MATTHIAS VON WNUK-LIPINSKI | President, Germany, Austria & Switzerland (DACH)
Matthias von Wnuk-Lipinski is a senior partner representing N2Growth as president in the areas of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).
Matthias has been successfully at home in the international Executive Search Industry for more than a decade. Feeling his vocation early on, he founded his first consultancy firm while still at university, starting off with a focus on IT consulting and the development of business models. Moving on in his career, he became the principal of an internationally operating management consultancy firm and prior to joining N2 had successfully established his own consultancy boutique, providing also management coaching and auditing services to his clients. In his work, Matthias’ philosophy is to take the term “executive” literally and lay the focus on people as the key factor to every entrepreneurial success. (“It is personalities, not principles, that move the age”.)
Thinking and acting as an entrepreneur, Matthias is valued as a confident and reliable consultant and partner at management level. He advises listed and major medium-sized businesses (Mittelstand) as well as business consultancies, employing his widespread network and personal creativity to offer successful solutions and merge the required know-how with the best suited people. His high-level personal and professional standards paired with his courage to strike new paths while preserving long-standing values make him an ideal consultant also in particularly sensitive and challenging projects.
Following completion of his national service, Matthias studied economics at the universities of the Saarland and Cologne. Born in Coblenz, Matthias now lives in the Rhineland, an area he cherishes for the outgoing mentality of its people, its rich cultural offer, and its central position within Europe. As an ambitious person, he early on felt the desire to employ his leadership qualities to also lead others to success. In his schooldays, he was a trainer in various national sailing associations where he coached future Olympic medalists. His passion for everything to do with nature and water is shared by his family. For Matthias, social commitment and giving something back to society is an integral part of his entrepreneurial responsibilities.
