Laura Musgrave

Laura Musgrave is a Senior Associate in N2Growth's Executive Search firm in New Mexico. She supports a range of clients in the Americas, focusing on talent management and optimizing outcomes in their industries. She specializes in market research and analysis, candidate identification, interviews, client status calls, and client/candidate meetings. Laura brings her diverse background and skill-set to the N2Growth Executive Search team and provides exceptional client relationship management and heightened candidate experience, helping to place C-suite executives, including Chief Financial Officers, Chief Executive Officers, and Chief Operating Officers, enabling positive business outcomes for our clients.

Before joining N2Growth's executive search practice, Laura spent seven years in the New York City market working in technology, private equity, and start-up firms in marketing, sales operations, business development, and client relationship management.

Laura earned her bachelor's degree in government from the University of Redlands, a private liberal arts school in Southern California, where she balanced academics with swimming competitively for the university, volunteering at the local Boys and Girls Club of America, and as a member of the university's chapter of Amnesty International. Laura also spent a long semester at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, where she doubled down on courses, taking seven courses in comparative European politics and law. After graduating from undergrad, Laura moved from California to NYC. After moving to NYC, Laura completed her certification in health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Eventually, Laura decided to get her master's degree in psychology, intending to go into counseling for children and adolescents. A lot of research finally brought Laura to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, which had an accredited program that would allow her to continue to work full time while pursuing her dream of earning a master's degree. After her first course in her master's program, Diversity Psychology, Laura knew she had found the perfect subspecialty that married her international relations and behavioral health interests and declared her concentration in International Psychology, graduating with that specialization. Laura is now near completion of a doctorate in International Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In her dissertation, she looks at the cultural relevance and perceived impact of an entrepreneurial job training model applied in Haiti.

When Laura isn't working or writing her dissertation, she spends her spare time rambling around the mountains surrounding Los Alamos, broader Northern New Mexico, and Colorado. An avid trail runner, Laura competes in trail ultramarathons, triathlons, and road cycling races. She sits on the board of the local triathlon club, a registered 501c3, volunteers coaching adults in swimming, and co-directs local trail running events with her two sisters. Laura also loves all of the winter mountain sports Los Alamos has to offer and has her eye on a quadrathlon (cycling, running, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing) in the next couple of years. Laura also loves to cook, bake, garden, journal, and read.

Laura lives in Los Alamos, NM, with her rescue German Shepherd mix, Guinness.
