Sevda Ozsonmez

Sevda Ozsonmez is the Managing Partner representing N2Growth in Istanbul, Turkey, and is responsible for executive search and the firm's operations in the region. Sevda began her career in the banking sector in 2005 and continued a successful career in finance, mainly in capital markets. She worked as a banking sector equity analyst and portfolio manager in domestic and international brokerage houses. Later, she became a manager at Azimut Portföy in Istanbul, covering Turkish markets and initiating international expansion plans for the company.

Between 2011 and 2019, Sevda was the Turkish representative of Erste Asset Management, one of the largest financial institutions in Austria, and was responsible for the Turkish and Greek markets. She conducted various interviews with international journalists during this role and led the funds' outperformance. During her time in the financial sector, Sevda encountered all the listed companies and their top C-level management in the stock exchange, evaluating their business plans and strategies, including execution and assessment. She conducted numerous roadshows and attended conferences. Her investor style and business strategy approach enabled her to quickly understand companies' needs and cover their requirements for specific roles.

In addition, having experienced global cultures and companies in both EMEA and the USA, Sevda developed a broad perspective on management and company values. After 17 years of experience in the finance sector and playing an active role in the investment evaluations of many companies in Turkey, Sevda joined a local boutique executive search company in Turkey and led various projects and placements in different sectors. As an executive recruiter, Sevda made numerous placements for clients' key roles such as CFO, CEO, Sales, Country Manager, Head of HR, and Board of Directors, both in Turkey and neighboring countries. Sevda is a certified coach for leaders and executives and is among the coaches at N2Growth. She is accredited in Big Five and Five Lens assessments. With over 20 years of experience in finance and executive search, Sevda specializes in helping clients unlock value within their talent acquisition, strategy, and optimization ecosystem.

After graduating from primary and high school in the USA and the Netherlands, Sevda received her undergraduate degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and the University of Portsmouth, Department of International Finance. She obtained her graduate degree in International Finance from Istanbul Bilgi University. In addition to her professional career, she is a board member of the Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association (FODER) and a member of the Professional Women's Network (PWN) and EMCC Turkey.

Sevda is also a Healthy Living Coach and a Pilates instructor. She enjoys practicing yoga and reading books. Sevda is married to her husband, Cihan, and they have a daughter.
