Armin Effendi

Armin Effendi is a highly experienced Managing Partner at N2Growth Malaysia, delivering exceptional results for his clients through his specialized expertise in Board and Executive Search, Board Reviews, CEO Succession, Executive Assessment and Development. With over 35 years of experience in executive and advisory roles in Asia, Europe, and North America, Armin has an impressive track record of working with top-tier leaders.

Before joining N2Growth, Armin served as the Country Chairman of Korn Ferry in Kuala Lumpur, an executive role responsible for all lines of business. Before that, he was the Managing Partner and Office Leader for Egon Zehnder Malaysia for over 14 years. Armin has also worked as a Senior Consultant with Bain and Company in their London and Singapore offices, serving as Director of Strategy Products at Accenture and Director of Consulting at KPMG.

On the executive side of the table, he was the first General Manager of International Business Development at PETRONAS, where he established the unit to lead the company's globalization efforts in the early 1990s. At the beginning of his career, Armin was a Congressional Advisor to Senator Bill Roth in the US Congress and an Analyst and Special Assistant to the Director General at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies, Malaysia.

Armin has advised and influenced leaders across the financial services, industrial, and technology industries. He is a deeply experienced consultant with a keen intellect and a genuine commitment to improving leadership teams.

Armin holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (Hons) from the United States International University in the UK.
