Global HR Leader to Drive Talent Lifecycle, Development, and Inclusion at a Leading Energy Solutions Company

Philadelphia, PA, May 2, 2023 – N2Growth, a premier global leadership consulting and executive search firm, proudly announces the placement of Shannon Thomas as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at EnerSys (NYSE: ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. Jessica Toth, Senior Director at N2Growth, spearheaded the search.

Ms. Thomas will join the executive team, reporting directly to EnerSys’s President and CEO, David M. Shaffer. As CHRO, she will be responsible for the global Human Resources function’s strategy, leadership, and operations, overseeing talent lifecycle and development, total rewards, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Ms. Thomas brings over 20 years of experience as a versatile and results-oriented global human resources leader in rapidly changing industries. Most recently, she served at Chemours, leading several transformational initiatives, including organizational re-design and systems implementations, resulting in upskilled talent, improved productivity, and significant annual cost savings.

Before her tenure at Chemours, Ms. Thomas held human resource leadership positions at several publicly traded and private companies, including Owens Corning, Hexion, Apex Tool Group, and the Eramet Group. She earned her MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Houston and her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Marietta College.
