I hope most people figure this out in their 20′s so they can benefit from all of it throughout their lives.

Excellent observation and real eye opener.
But… point no.7, Initiative Overload and extra effort / extra mile to achieve, has a very thin line isn’t it?

No. 3: Is there a choice for mom’s like me, who opt to take care of their kids (and not have someone do it) during the day? I believe we’re an exception.

You should not be the exception. Mammals became the dominant species on this planet 65million years ago by having a parent remain with the young to nurture them, Modern opinion belittle that idea but I believe that not nurturing the young will be a disastrous mistake if continued.

    Few more time wasters:

    1) Repeating the same things again and again: Mostly happens when we place the target in dark.
    2) Not using technology properly: This happens when we don’t like to think that “there must be a better way!!!”.

Unproductive meetings are generally seen in organizations having strong hierarchy. This is mostly because, every small discussion tends to be so called status update meetings.
